    Beta Eta Chapter wins record SIXTH consecutive Robert Adger Smythe Award

    At the 2010 Pi Kappa Alpha International Convention in Austin, TX, the Beta Eta Chapter was awarded the Robert Adger Smythe Award for chapter excellence.  This marks the 6th consecutive year the undergraduates have been so honored.  If you would like to reach out to the chapter, feel free to email Tyler Weston the current SMC at ty.weston11@gmail.com.

    The mansion at 102 E. Chalmers continues to progress.

  • Brother Markus Funk recognized by Chicago Sun-Times


    Brother Markus Funk will be leaving the U.S. Attorney's Office in Chicago to enter private practice in Denver.  The Chicago Sun-Times ran a feature on Brother Funk and his prestigious career in public service.  Read the article here.

    Illinois vs. Northwestern football event -- Nov. 20th.

     The Beta Eta Alumni Association, in conjunction with the Gamma Rho Alumni Association (Northwestern), will be attending the historic Illinois versus Northwestern football game at Wrigley Field on Nov. 20th. To that end, we are purchasing a large block of rooftop tickets for the game.  Tickets are expensive -- $300 each, but all is included (including tax and tip).

     

    If you would like more information or are ready to purchase tickets now, please email Mark Doerr at doerr.mark@gmail.com.  Tickets are going fast, and the Alumni Association hopes to solidify plans by August.
